Yoga for Healthy Aging
Yoga for Healthy Aging offers a dynamic yoga practice consisting of seated and standing postures. Combining knowledge of physical therapy, adaptive and accessible yoga, classes focus on individuals’ needs, safety, and sustainability. Yoga is a great way to improve and maintain strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and a sense of well-being as one moves through life’s journey.

Soul Activism: tending anger, befriending grief, and deepening connection in challenging times
Using the tools of yoga and mindfulness including postures, breath, meditation, and mantra, learn how to care for your physical and mental well-being amidst national and global crises.

Balance in Motion
Designed for people who want to maintain or improve their balance, reduce their risk of falling, gain confidence, and optimize mobility. You will learn gentle yoga and balance poses in addition to learning how your body maintains balance, how aging can impact balance, how to safely get up if a fall does occur, and strategies to maintain safety in your home. No previous yoga experience required.

Learn about preventing bone loss, osteopenia, and osteoporosis while exploring how to care for your bones now and in the future with nutrition, physical therapy, yoga and breath. Co-presented with Mikki Townshend and Suzanne Granstrom.

Reduce pain, improve posture and respiratory function, and mobilize and strengthen the back for optimal spinal support. Join me to learn yoga poses and breathing techniques tailored to your specific curve pattern.
